Julian Rundle
Julian Rundle has been Managing Partner of Dorset Management since the company's inception in 2004 and chairs its Investment Committee. Mr. Rundle has over 25 years experience in asset management initially for a subsidiary of Bowater Corp of the UK and later for Commodities Corporation in Princeton, NJ. Since 2001 and prior to establishment of Dorset , Mr Rundle advised Macquarie Bank on all aspects of its hedge fund investment activity. Mr Rundle is Australian and is a resident of New York City. He holds a Law degree (Hons) from the University of Sydney in Australia and is a Graduate of Columbia Business School in New York.
Burton Rothberg
Burton Rothberg is a Partner and Director of Research at Dorset since 2006. Dr. Rothberg has been involved in hedge funds for over thirty years. For twenty of those he was a senior trader at Commodities Corporation in Princeton N.J. Prior to that he experienced the markets from the viewpoint of a manufacturing commodities buyer and as a physical dealer. In 2001, Dr. Rothberg joined the accounting faculty of Baruch College. Dr. Rothberg lives in NYC He has an undergraduate degree from MIT and a doctorate in quantitative methods from the Harvard Business School.
Peter V. Rajsingh
Peter Rajsingh is a Partner at Dorset. He has over a decade of experience, sits on the Investment Committee, and also manages Dorset's private equity and real estate practice. Before Dorset he headed the institutional group at an investment boutique, working on hedge fund due diligence and incubation, and investment banking. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York. Dr. Rajsingh is an Adjunct Professor at Reims Business School where he has taught since 1996, and since 1991 at NYU, at the Stern School of Business. He obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and B.A. with honors from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
David E. Slattery
David Slattery is a Partner at Dorset Management where he focuses on manager due diligence, real estate and private equity. Prior to Dorset he was a Principal at a managed futures fund of funds and was also a managing member at a Dallas-based CTA hedge fund. Mr. Slattery is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and lives in NYC. He holds a business degree in finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Robert C. Albietz
Robert Albietz has over 20 years of experience as a CIO or CFO responsible for alternative asset portfolios of funds of hedge funds, private equity funds and real estate. Mr. Albietz is focused his on hedge fund operational due diligence drawing upon his expertise in Investments, Finance, Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, and Information Systems. Prior to 2004, Mr. Albietz served as CIO for JRT Investment Co., a Jim Joseph/Interland organization where he also served as Vice President of Investments and Treasurer. Mr. Albietz was a practicing CPA and began his career with Touche Ross & CO (Deloitte) in San Francisco. Mr. Albietz earned his M.B.A. in Finance and A.B. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the California Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executives Institute.
